Why Solid Wood Paneling
The SWP Difference
9/32″ Bead Profile
A rounded bead at 9/32" slat width creates a fine, rhythmic pattern across the full panel surface. The narrow pitch produces more frequent bead repetition than wider profiles — a richer, more detailed texture that excels on accent walls and feature installations.
Pairs with Tambour
Every SWP profile corresponds directly to a Tambour variant. Mixing flat walls with curved surfaces in the same space? Run SWP on the flat sections and Tambour on the curves — same profile, same species, same finish. Seamless.
5 Species Available
Choose from Poplar, Red Oak, Maple, Walnut, and White Oak — all premium North American hardwoods. Poplar takes paint beautifully and is our most economical species. Oak, Maple, Walnut, and White Oak are ideal for stained applications.
Finish Your Way
Panels arrive sanded and ready for staining or painting. Pre-finishing the back face before installation is recommended — it equalizes moisture absorption and reduces the risk of cupping over time.
